What to Expect
A very fine needle is used to target fine lines and wrinkles. Usually you can return to your normal daily activities immediately after the procedure. Redness and minimal swelling can be present post procedure and although unlikely, small bruising can occur. No anaesthesia is required for this procedure and it takes anywhere from 10-20 minutes.
Post Appointment Care
• DO NOT lay down for 4 hours post procedure.
• No rubbing or massaging the treatment area for 4 hours post procedure.
• Paracetamol can be taken for mild discomfort, please do not take Nurofen, Aspirin or blood thinning anti-inflammatories.
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours post procedure.
• No exercise for 24 hours post procedure.
• Please allow two weeks for the procedure to be at full effect before having a review if needed.
• No extreme heat for 2 weeks post procedure.
• Please refrain from having any other procedures such as microdermabrasion’s, chemical peels or waxing for two weeks post procedure.

Less than 5 minutes, depending on the complexity of each person.
How long do anti wrinkle injections last?
Between 3 to 6 months on average. In most cases patients require less units & extend their frequency of injections over time.
What are the side effects of anti-wrinkle injections?
Side effects are super rare, and depend on the site of injection. Eyelid ptosis or droopy eye is the most common side effect. It occurs in less than one percent of cases.
Can I have anti-wrinkle while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. Anti-wrinkle injections are not recommend for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
